51±¬ÁÏ Withdrawal Policy

Students who wish to withdraw from the college, and do not plan on returning to RIC, must complete the official withdrawal process before the college withdrawal deadline (see deadline on Academic Calendar).Students who wish to withdraw from all courses, and return to RIC in a future semester, should complete the process.

Students who complete the withdrawal process within the add/drop period (see deadline on Academic Calendar) will not have any grades posted to their RIC transcript. Those completing the withdrawal process after the add/drop period will have W grades reported on their transcript.

Students who wish to return to RIC at a later date will be subject to the college’s reactivation or readmission policies.

I understand that withdrawing from the College may affect federal and state benefits, various financial aid programs and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements. I understand that by withdrawing from the College, I forfeit my current admission in my academic program.
