I am an immigrant from the Dominican Republic and a first-generation college student, currently pursuing a master's degree in social work. My passion lies in advocating for immigrants and in the future, I would like to support fellow first-gen students in navigating the complexities of higher education. Through my own experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by these communities and am committed to guiding individuals with essential resources while fostering empowerment and resilience. My goal is to make a lasting impact by helping others through empathy, advocacy, and practical support.
