As a first-generation higher education student pursuing my Master's in Social Work, I am to be of service to the Latinx community. My work experience has been supporting family-centered care across diverse populations, including undocumented individuals, survivors of domestic violence, and those dealing with mental health and behavioral challenges. I am passionate about working with young mothers, as my own experiences as a single young mother has deeply shaped my commitment to this work. I aim to empower and support them, hoping that through my services, I can pay it forward and give them the belief that if I can do it, they can too, and they can pay it forward as well.
